Happy Veteran's Day!

Hi, friends!!
For this Veteran's Day, I planned my very first Operation Write Home card making party. WOO HOO!! Joyful Creations came together with Central Perk to host an Any Hero Christmas Cardmaking Party. You may remember my post about my friends at Central Perk--click here.  If you're not familiar with Operation Write Home click on my previous post HERE or HERE  (This post will be filled with pictures so I'm trying to be brief.) We made cards and completed coloring pages. We made 24 cards!! A little boy named Tyler colored a page and left a sweet note for a hero. My son, nieces and nephew were at school so before I mail everything off, I'm going to have them color a page as well. Ms. Debbie, Kim and I thought that our party would be a great way to honor veterans especially those currently deployed by gathering at the coffee shop on Veteran's Day to create and write personal messages to our heroes. What if next year I could organize ALL of my favorite coffee shops to host a Veteran's Day AnyHero Christmas Cardmaking Party?! Watch out!
My favorite Hero popped in--DAD! Visit my OWH post about him by clicking HERE.
Keshala wrote her own special poem...
"My heart is filled with gratitude
My heart is filled with love
I pray that you are blessed
by the Heavenly Father above.
Thank you for your dedication
Thank you for your sacrifice
I pray that God blesses your Christmas
and gives you a prosperous life."

We played a round robin card making game. So much FUN! Everybody's hands were supposed to be up off of their cards. Umm, looks like Keshala and Kim were cheating :) We know Momma wasn't cheating (LOL)

The card on the right was a sample from a kit I made. The card on the left is somebody's creative variation of another kit I made. The card in the middle is Kim's very own unique creation.

Look at my Mom's creative hands at work.

I love my Mom!!!

Thanks for helping to brighten the holiday for our deployed heroes this holiday season.
You ladies rock!

Happy Veteran's Day!

We had such a great time, and it was soooo much fun!! Central Perk was such a great place to have this event. Central Perk was so warm and inviting and Ms. Debbie and Kim treated us like we were family. This cozy environment made our card making extra special. Coffee... Cards... at Central Perk and all for our Veterans on Veteran's Day. Then with a sweet cherry on top of such great fun my own veteran husband Command Sergeant Major George Temple showed up, I can only say WOW!! I had a good time, I wish everybody we know could have been there. Thanks Tiffany for all the fun, creative opportunities that you CREATE in making a positive difference in the lives of others. When I grow up I want to be just like you.:) Love you, Momma
