| Mom setting up Early bird/loyal shoppers who both left with BAGS of merchandise! These post it note stands were a hit! I'll have to make loads more of these for Broadmoor's Craft Fair. and so were these pin cushion! I personally have the paisley print. Love it! Then Angie came and found a few clearanced items along with regular priced gifts. The Lord blessed me with smiles and hugs (and financial seed) from so many friends and loyal customers. I saw more familiar faces than ever before! I intentionally set up my booth for me to have easy access to the outside of my booth, but this year I pretty much stayed outside of my booth because of all the love. I really felt like I was hosting Joyful Creations birthday party. It was GREAT! I'm so very grateful to each and every person for their patronage. Each of you are special to me and dear to my heart. You all may remember my friend, SonJa--I've mentioned her on the blog before. She came to help me this year. I thought I would be short handed with everybody having something else to do including taking Triston to his football game for me and Keshala having her own booth this year. I had not been in touch with SonJa days leading up to the fair, but she showed up anyway. What a dependable, loving, supportive and merciful friend she is to me. Love that chic! It turned out that my Mom was able to work with me the entire time. Last year, on my facebook page I said that it took all those ladies (Margie, Candace and Keshala) just to fill in for ONE awesome lady--my MOM. *chuckles* It wasn't the same without my sister, but she came with her daughters for a little while then Dad and Triston surprised us by coming after the game. They only stayed for a while, then whaddaya know, they came back for break down which was about the time my Godmother arrived. Linda, never misses a show and an opportunity to purchase my creations. Even though she came at the very end of the show (lol), she made it. She's a bit "time-challenged" especially since she's retired. ![]() These notebooks were a hit too! These particular notebooks were just a small portion of the items Ms. Karen purchased. She was a first time customer last year and came back for more Joyful goodness. This time she brought a friend! I regret not having many pictures, but the camera was the only thing we forgot to bring. All of these pictures came from my phone. I hope you enjoyed! I appreciate your prayers and support of me and my crafts. Thank you and may God's very best blessings overtake you in every area of your life. |

St. Luke Craft Fair 2011
Hey friends!! So, I'm sure you've been wondering what was the deal with the St. Luke Craft Fair. I mentioned it then I didn't. I've posted, but nothing about St. Luke's Craft Fair. Well, it was GREAT!!!!! I was oversleeping the day of the fair when I received the sweetest text message from Tamika speaking a blessing over me for the day. The birds were chirping and the weather was PERFECT as I headed out to my 4th year at the fair. Can you believe it's been FOUR years since I stepped out on the water to share my crafts in hopes that someone would recognize their value? St. Luke was my very first craft show. I found out about it and signed up 2 weeks before the show. I had already been considering selling my crafts and saw the sign on my way to pick up Triston one day and called to learn that there were only 2 spaces available. I slipped in right on time and with the help of family and a friend, I was able to create enough merchandise for decent showing. So here I am four years later with quite a following most of whom actually don't read my blog or friend me on facebook, but they come to my booth EVERY year. This year was unique because I had several male customers. I made a few notebooks based on my Dad's feedback, and men bought them and the SFGTD boxes. Now I'll have to add my Dad to the creative design team :)

So how do you express being speechless in text language? Wow!!!!!!!! Your display is wonderful along with your products. And I am so glad that my text was timely. My husband kept asking me who are you texting so early in the morning, I told him it was a crafting thing, he wouldn't understand, lol. Everything looks great and i am so inspired! I wish I could leave work right now and get to my scrap room! You have given me the confidence to do my own shows and I appreciate that so much!!!
